CNY Infusion Services

Every Good Home Starts With a Good Foundation, and Thanks to CNY Infusion Services, Our Home Will Too!

CNY Infusion Services is the Foundation Builder for the first Syracuse Women Build project! CNY Infusion has donated $10,000 to build the foundation for the house, and everything begins with a good foundation.

CNY Infusion Services is a local business founded and owned by April Stone. The company specializes in bringing high-tech infusion treatments into the homes of patients as an alternative to hospitalization. As an industry leader, CNY Infusion delivers the highest quality of care using the latest technology in home infusion treatments.

April founded CNY Infusion Services in 1994 after losing her position as a result of downsizing. With several years of experience working in home infusion, she decided to take the leap and start her own company. CNY Infusion currently has about 25 employees and patients in 14 counties in central New York. For more information, please visit www.cnyinfusion.com.

We were fortunate to have April join us last spring as the chair of the Logistics Committee. She has been an invaluable part of the team and brings passion to the project. April has made it a personal goal, as well as a company mission, to give back to the community. Poverty housing is a severe threat to children’s health, growth, and potential. Working in the medical profession, April has learned the value of decent and safe housing for all, especially children. She is excited to be part of the Women Build project and hopes to put a strong foundation into place for a deserving local family.

When she learned of the project, April says, “I was looking for something that I could help with on a physical level, as well as a financial level, and at the same time benefit women and children. Habitat’s Women Build project fits perfectly into my plans. It is one of the best ways I can think of to serve my community…and has the wonderful side effect of empowering the women who are working on the project.”

April admits that it was initially difficult to be taken seriously as a woman who owned her own company, and that “people seemed to be looking for the ‘Mr.’ side of the equation in order to do business.” However, April’s determination prevailed, and she brings that same determination, hard work, and generous spirit to the Women Build project. We are lucky to have the opportunity to work with both April and the staff at CNY Infusion.

From all of us on the Women Build project, thank you CNY Infusion Services!
