Events: Mr. Habitat 2009
October 25, 2009
4 – 7 PM
Bella Domani Catering
5988 East Taft Road Syracuse, NY 13212
Tickets: a $10 donation at the door would be greatly appreciated.
Who'll be crowned this year's Mr. Habitat? Come and find out. And do a little Christmas Shopping while you're at it. Part live auction and part silent auction, Mr. Habitat raises money for the Women Build House. We auction off the services of men (not those services) in a live auction, and attendees can silently bid on an array of wonderful items throughout the evening. If you know of some handy handsome guy who has a skill or service to auction, or someone who has an item to donate for the silent auction, send them our way. And we hope to see you there. It's free to attend.

| About The Women Build Project
This exciting project brings together women of all backgrounds and ability levels to plan and construct a simple and decent home for a deserving family!
The Women Build program invites women to address the problem of substandard housing and its effects on the health and well being of children. In the United States, 12 million children – one in six – live in substandard housing. Though safe, decent housing is critical to a child’s health and development, children are more likely to live in poverty than any other age group.
Syracuse Habitat for Humanity is proud to offer this opportunity for concerned women to directly address the affordable housing crisis that exists in our own community.
